Privacy Policy
1) What this covers
This policy explains what information ApiAuth may collect, how it is used, and what choices you have. ApiAuth is a web service that helps users run and manage a Discord ticket bot.
2) Information we may collect
- Account details: email, username, and profile information you provide.
- Session/security data: login sessions/tokens, basic device/browser data, and IP address used for security and abuse prevention.
- Bot configuration: server ID, role IDs, channel IDs, and settings you configure.
- Support data: messages you send to support and metadata around those requests.
- Transcripts: when enabled by you, ticket transcripts may be stored to provide the transcript viewing feature.
3) How we use information
- To provide the service, including bot configuration, ticket management, and transcripts.
- To secure the service (fraud prevention, rate limiting, account protection, incident investigation).
- To communicate with you about account or security events (e.g., verification codes).
- To comply with applicable law if required.
4) Data retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required for security and legal compliance. Some retention may be controlled by your bot settings (e.g., transcript retention days).
5) Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers used to operate ApiAuth (e.g., infrastructure, email delivery) and only to the extent necessary to provide the service.
6) Discord data
ApiAuth interacts with Discord APIs. Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord’s own policies. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions to process any data in your Discord server.
7) Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect accounts and data. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8) Your responsibilities
- Keep your credentials and Discord tokens secure.
- Only process data you have the legal right to collect and store.
- Use the service in compliance with Discord’s rules and applicable law.
